Hello.

I’m out of the blue, but have you ever been on a roller coaster?

There are those who find the thrill unbearable, and there are those who don’t like to ride them.
There are those who have been able to overcome it, and there are those who are now not so good at it.
By the way, I’m the last one, the one who thought I was fine with it, but before I knew it, I was no longer good at it.
But I don’t care about that.

But I don’t care about that, because I used to love screaming attractions more than 20 years ago.
When I saw the wooden coaster at Nagashima Spa Land being introduced on a TV program
When I saw the wooden coaster at Nagashima Superland being introduced on TV, I remember itching to ride it.

Now, just seeing the front view of the roller coaster makes my palms sweat.
These days, you can even ride a roller coaster in VR.
I was afraid that if I had such an experience, I would have a stroke.
I’m self-consciously nervous even though I’ve never tried it.

I never thought I’d have such a constitution.
I regret a little that I should have ridden over when I was still fine, and
I regret a little bit that I should have ridden over when I was still okay, and now the words I was told in my twenties, “Do what you can while you’re young,” are sinking in.

Do what you can while you are young.
This is effective at any age, as long as you start on the spot.

~.

I’ve digressed a bit.
Let’s go back to when I was a child, when I was supposed to have infinite possibilities, unlike nowadays when I am more and more bad at such things.

When I was still in elementary school, I was still very curious.
I was still a curious elementary school student when my relative’s brother told me to play with pachinko balls on a rail that resembled a roller coaster.
When I was still a curious elementary school student, I was given a toy by my relative’s brother to play with by rolling pachinko balls on a rail that resembled a roller coaster.

It was a smaller and simpler version of the ball coaster(?) that sits on the second floor of the Osaka Science Museum and the first floor of Umie. It is a smaller and simpler version of the ball coaster(?) that sits on the second floor of the Osaka Science Museum and the first floor of Umie.
I guess it’s easier to understand if I say that.
It doesn’t have any special tricks, you just have to use your imagination and make the course as you like.
It is what we call an educational tool.

However, the more you try, the deeper it gets.

If the rails are not angled properly, the balls will roll out of the corners.
If the rails are not angled properly, the balls will roll out of the corners, and if the rails are not angled enough, the balls will stop in the middle of the track, making it difficult to reach the goal.
Since I don’t have even a millimeter of knowledge about physics, I had to adjust the angle and change the layout every so often.

Even so, once I got used to the game to a certain extent, I found that I was either bored or obsessive, and that I was able to find tricks that were not listed in the manual and
In the end, I don’t think it was a roller coaster at all.
Still, I guess I felt the romance and satisfaction of creating a course with only my energy and intuition.
I think I played with this one all the time back then.

~~I think this is all I played in those days.

Several years have passed since then, and I too have run through my youth, whether I have or not.
One day, when I was old enough to change the place where I rolled pachinko balls from home to the store
One day, I was glued to the scene unfolding on the other side of the TV screen.

Yes, it was “Pythagoras Switch,” which is still being broadcast on a certain national TV station.
It was the “Pythagoras Switch” still being broadcast on a certain national TV station, and one of the programs was the “Pythagora Device” (I didn’t know it was called that).

Oh! Isn’t this the same thing that I tried to make a course using the whole living room when I was a kid, but my parents got mad at me for making too much mess and I gave up! And
I tried to ignore the difference in scale.

Or, “Isn’t this what the mysterious trap I made once upon a time might have looked like if I had finished it with good taste? And
I’m not sure.

Or, “The color scheme is stylish and there are a lot of devices that are just a little more sophisticated than the ones I made! And
It’s just a little more sophisticated than what I made!

I still remember how excited I was when I was in elementary school and I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

After that, I didn’t go so far as to record it, but whenever I happened to find it on air, I would watch it until the end.
It’s been almost 20 years since it aired, which is amazing.

~~It’s amazing that it will soon be 20 years old.

It’s been a long time since I’ve talked about this, but…
I’m not sure if it’s because of the cushion I got from Pythagoras Switch. I don’t know.
I’m sorry for the long preamble, but perhaps it was the cushion of Pythagoras Switch that moved my heart again.

This video was uploaded by an American YouTuber in May 2020, just after the world started to lock down.
It was uploaded by an American YouTuber. So I took a peek at it.
It took two months to complete, but the many elaborate tricks and the 360° camera work made me feel like I was in the middle of something.
It took two months, but the many elaborate tricks and the 360° camera work brought back memories of those days.

At the end of the film, which was 3 minutes and 19 seconds long and packed with romance, I shouted with them, “Whoa! I shouted together.

…Still, I think I’ve become an unpleasant adult when I think about how hard it must be to clean up… (laughs)

~~(laughs)

Even in these difficult times, if we can remember to have fun and give it our all, I think we can have a positive day.
…I think I’ll stop here because I’m afraid I’m going to go on to other topics with my tangled hands.

I understand that this is a very niche subject, and I’m not sure if there are people who can relate to this video work.
I hope you’ll take a break and watch it if you like.
See you soon.
